the expectation of major gifting, and its mine as well as others. I hate it.

its supposed to be a surprise….I don’t think ahead (it can be dangerous)

preparing for Christmas Day, which is my celebration. (the ex owns christmas eve)

turkey and the fixins, cranberry bread. and cookies

in my mind….the body is less willing (but I love watching the grandchildren doing it)

Cook and enjoy with friends, maybe some games.

the necklace my eldest bought at the school santa sale when he was in 1st grade.

never really get expensive stuff…budget is always tight.
How early do you wake up on Christmas morning?
I always wake early. as a kid it was excitement, as a parent it is about things to do, and now its about peace before the storm.
What do you usually get in your stocking?
candy, sometimes nuts, never tangerines anymore, and little gifts, earrings, silly things.
